Here are some excerpts from “Aprenda Ya a Tocar Guitarra”—a DVD version of my Book/CD method. I functioned as the Executive Producer on this project which features Juancho Herrera, a good friend and phenomenal musician.

This project was originally intended for instructional use. It represents a modern Son and was recorded on location in Havana, Cuba. This project has not been commercially released. Again, I functioned as the Executive Producer for this project.




This is a quick sample of a video podcast-style lesson that Rockero Media developed for the Rock and Roll Academy. The Rock and Roll Academy is real-life version of the feature film, “School of Rock.”

Developing your fingerpicking technique can be challenging; however, by assigning a finger to string you can slowly start to develop pick-hand independence.

In this example, you’ll find a lick that I refer to as “Stairway to the Misty Mountain.” Along with learning a cool minor pentatonic lick, you can also see how you can apply a lick from one tune to another tune.
