I really enjoy working with Jerry Willard. Not only is he a master musician and consummate professional, but also, one of the most genuine and humble human beings I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.

This is a sample of the Baroque guitar from The Complete Works of Gaspar Sanz project.

Naturally, microphone placement and room noise provided a few challenges; however, the results were favorable and completed in record time and on budget.

Recording, production and engineering are only some of the aspects of creative audio solutions that Rockero Media provides. Founder, Ed Lozano, received his music degree with a concentration on writing and arranging music for commercial use.

This project was commissioned by a Chicago-based company that was developing an interactive product for early childhood music instruction.

This tune was part of a collection that was going to be Nicky Martin's debut recording. Unfortunately, the gifted musician's untimely death left these gems largely unheard.

For many years, Nicky Martin struggled to make a living and play his music. This led to many starts and stops with many songs completed but not fully mastered. "Walkin' Stick" was one song that was completed and also received Nicky's blessing.

"Esperanza" is a traditional Colombian pasillo. Quite often this piece is performed on guitar or the Colombian tiplé. In this case, the closest sounding instrument that we had available was the laúd, or Cuban lute.

This was one of the first field recordings produced by Ed Lozano. In addition, Ed performed the melody on the laúd with support from Orlando Londoño on guitar, Alvaro Alvarez on percussion, and Jairo Camacho on bass.
